A slow morning after watching the game last night
Monday, 15th July 2024
It was a sombre morning at Zenira Camps, as everyone awoke still feeling the disappointment of England losing the final the previous night. However, it was a new day, and the campers prepared for their tests in anticipation of being put into classes. The pool awaited them, and soon they were all splashing in, with many engaging in a spirited game of volleyball, debating the contentious calls made by Joel as referee.
Theme of the week, English Club and more
After lunch, classes were assigned, as the campers enjoyed engaging and enriching education. Then proceeded an exciting first set of clubs for the students to enjoy. I myself have graduated Physics from University, so I ran the science club, where we created catapults, and took part in exciting completion where Vicky came out on top.
Pesho had the Dungeons and Dragons students hear about some percentage and math while they were developing the new plot of the game for the next two weeks.
The other clubs made some solar ovens and managed to bake marshmallows. If the weather continues to be so hot we may soon be preparing our lunch on solar ovens:)
"Family" time at the beach
After dinner, we then went to the beach! Beach in the evening was very exhilarating and new experience for the campers. We played fun games and got to know our families even better, as we bonded as the sun set over the Black Sea.
