The language camp combines German language tuition led by qualified teachers from Germany and Austria with an engaging free time program. After the classes the children enjoy a chosen sport and a variety of outdoor activities by the sea and on the beach.

The summer camp gives pupils the chance to learn and communicate in German in class and outside, while enjoying a summer vacation at the southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, just 50 minutes from Burgas.

Intensive German Tuition

The two weeks include 50 lessons of German language, taught in small classes with a maximum of 10 students. The program consists of 22 formal lessons per week and 3 German Club sessions where students can choose 5 topics, to help them put classroom learning into practice based on their interests.

The summer camp programme includes German  lessons every day except Sunday.

German can be challenging, but when learning is engaging and fun, the lessons fly by!

Tuition is closely tied to fresh, unfamiliar topics, helping pupils absorb demanding vocabulary effortlessly and expand their lexicon alongside grammar practice.

Participants are placed into groups by age and language level (A2–C1).

Teachers from Germany and Austria

To make the experience as valuable as possible, our team caring for the children during the language holiday includes qualified German teachers and activity leaders from Germany. The programme mirrors the approach of German language camps abroad.

At Sommercamp Deutsch we place special emphasis on individual attention: our staff-to-student ratio is 1:4, as in all our camps.

Sport, Music and Excursions

At Sommercamp Deutsch there is something interesting planned for every part of the day. With the camp just 600 metres from the sea, going to the beach is a favourite pastime—but the programme goes far beyond that.

Sports Activities – Three Times per Week

In addition to 25 hours of German per week, participants enjoy a full sports programme. For each week of their stay, they choose one of the following sports modules: beach volleyball, tennis, windsurfing / stand-up paddleboarding, football, golf, multisport, or swimming.

Coaches treat every athlete with respect and work attentively with all children. During the language holiday each child receives personal tips and recommendations from licensed instructors.

Wednesday = Saturday

By tradition, Wednesday is for a full-day excursion and Saturday for a half-day trip—both included in our programme. We visit Sozopol, Nessebar, the Burgas Sand Sculpture Festival, Beglik Tash, the Camel Park, the Veleka River in Strandzha National Park, and many other places.
