Our Teachers and Classes

Intensive tuition with the best team of German teachers, activity leaders and mentors.

Austrian and German Teachers and Activity Leaders

German tuition is the core of the summer language camp. That’s why lessons and free-time activities are led by experienced teachers and activity leaders from Germany and Austria, qualified to teach German as a foreign language. Our team also includes two activity leaders who speak Bulgarian and support work at the lower levels. All teachers and leaders actively participate in the sports and music sessions and accompany us on excursions.

Intensive Summer German Language course

50 academic hours for a two-week course • for ages 10–13 and 14–16

for students between 10–16 years

Who is the camp for

The course is suitable both for pupils who do not attend extra-curricular German classes and for those who do—whether on courses or with private tutors.

Levels between A2 and C 1

Participants are organised into small groups by age and proficiency level. At levels B2 and C1, we focus on complex structures, debating and composing texts on set topics.

The program includes:

Each week includes 20 academic hours of interactive lessons with teachers from Germany plus 5 hours in an interest-based club.

Placement Test

On the first day, pupils sit a German placement test to join a group with a similar proficiency level. In addition to level, children are grouped by age. This allows teachers to adapt topics and methods to the learners in each group.

German Language Classes

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays there are 4 lessons per day; on Saturdays—2 lessons. Interactive methods and integrated, student-interest topics are used. The aim is to build confidence in language skills and activate passive vocabulary through daily communication in German throughout the camp.

Deutsch-Club

Three times per week we run Deutsch-Club sessions that encourage participants to put classroom learning into practice. Pupils choose one of five topics that interests them most and are grouped by interest rather than by age or level. Topics are set flexibly according to student preferences and may include: theatre, arts & crafts, logic games, projects, filmmaking, music, journalism and more.

Additional One-to-One German Classes

If your child needs to reach a specific level or requires more intensive preparation, we can offer individual tuition for an extra fee. Sessions are held twice a week and may overlap with some free time.

ADVANCED GERMAN LANGUAGE CLASSES

for students 13-16 with B2 and above

For children at B2 and C1 levels. If your child has studied German from an early age or intensively at school or with additional lessons, they may already manage well. They might even hold a certificate at their level, but do they speak with ease? Children often hesitate to join conversations on unfamiliar topics requiring new vocabulary.

To keep lessons fresh and sustain motivation, we use an integrated, topic-centred approach that nudges pupils beyond their comfort zone. This broadens their active vocabulary and prepares them to use the language beyond familiar themes. Teachers spark curiosity so that new vocabulary and grammar are absorbed naturally—and, crucially, applied effortlessly in communication.

The Heart of Sommercamp Deutsch

Our team is the heart of the German summer language camp

Sommercamp Deutsch е езикова ваканция по подобие на езиковите ваканции в чужбина с обучение по немски, спорт и музика, много игри, приятелства и забавно време на открито.

Ние знаем, че успехът на езиковата ваканция зависи от правилния подбор на преподавателите, аниматорите и менторите.

We know success depends on selecting the right teachers, activity leaders and mentors. Each member of our team is chosen for their responsibility, enthusiasm and a passion for working with children and teens. On site, our mission is to help every child feel good, grow and gain new skills.

Care for Children

Before and During Camp

Our language holiday would not be possible without Zenira’s team caring for children before and during their stay. The reservations, transport and transfers department ensures the smooth running of our camps. Together with the German camp directors, they keep everything on track—tasty food, engaging excursions and fresh ideas for returning pupils.
