Day 1: Sunday 29th of July at Z Camp.

Today we welcomed the new students who will make Z camp their home for the next 2 -3 weeks.  After a long  bus journey for most of them, they were relieved to stretch their legs on arrival.  After showing them to their rooms, and taking their mobile phones away (torture for some!),  the kids began the usual Icebreaker games designed to get them mingling with each other and getting to know each other and the tutors.

Importantly they were assigned their teams for the week and the points system was explained to them. Points will be given through the week for being helpful, making an effort in English and activities and so on.

After dinner and more fun team games, the kids went to bed exhausted, but exited about the week ahead. Some had doubts they would fall asleep at 10.30, but soon after lights out the camp was …zzz
