Monday, 15 July, Z CAMP 2019
The sun is shining! A beautiful day marks the beginning of week 3 at z-camp. After breakfast, the campers and staff had a relaxed morning at the beach doing a mixture of activities and games to keep all entertained.
New weekly theme: Space
After showers, everyone was introduced to this week’s theme of Space. All students were taken to the disco where they were met with a galaxy of lights and sounds from a mixture of videos, music and brainstorming. All students began tasks based around our world, the universe and what else may lurk beyond!
Afternoon activities
The campers then had the chance to choose between cooking, guitar lessons or a good old English sports day. While some were baking delicious scones, others were practicing those all-important chords. Those taking part in our very own z-camp sports day completed typical English events such as, egg and spoon race, 3 legged race and tic tac toe.
A Murder Mystery to be solved
After a filling dinner, everyone got on their detective hats for the evening activity- Murder Mystery! While some of the staff undertook the roles of the suspects, the campers were trying to answer that important question- who did it? After a long and meticulous investigation we all waited with baited breath to hear that Miss Edelweiss did it!
An entertaining evening for all saw out another wonderful day at Z-camp.
