A splash at the Waterpark followed by Space fashion madness!
Today started with the news about a surprise trip to the Aqua park Neptune in the afternoon. As much as the staff members tried to keep it a secret, they weren’t very successful. Almost all the kids knew before lunch. Do they read our minds or what?
Mike confirmed the information after lunch and gave them less than half an hour to get ready to leave. We think the level of enthusiasm displayed confirms that trips to the Water Park are among their favorite activities at Z Camp since they were actually on time for the bus (for once).
The day finished with amazing space-themed costumes for the fashion show. Maybe having had time to design their own alien race today in one of the English lessons was an activity that inspired them. Or maybe they are just really creative. Or maybe both? I think it’s safe to say we can add funny and smart in the mix and it is the perfect description of how the evening finished.
Seeing them shine as they prepared for the fashion show made everyone feel really lucky to have met these kids.
