Tuesday, 30 July, Z CAMP 2019
Hello! Zdravey! My name is Michael and I arrived to Z-Camp on Sunday night, after a long journey from Barcelona, joining the team as an English teacher and activity leader until the end of August. I was given a nice welcome by the great team of staff members and the lovely children (who have all been fantastic) and I'm settling in and getting to know everyone. Here are some of my first impressions of Z-Camp, written in rhyme!
A day in rhymes
Smiling faces and egg and spoon races.
English classes and volleyball passes.
Swimming in the sea and surfing free.
Football drills and karaoke thrills.
English speaking and fun whilst teaching.
Fun whilst learning and Black Sea dreaming.
A tug of war and frisbee by the shore.
Races on three legs and new words in heads.
Singing songs and singing along.
Travel by model train, new things to explain.
Language sumo and treasure hunt a-go-go!
Swimming in the pool and keeping cool.
Ukulele and guitar, played under the stars.
An array of sports, prizes and awards.
Helpfulness, kindness and the finest of the finest.
Learning and fun and joy and laughter.
Lots of great memories and happily ever after 🙂
And that's just after two days! I'm looking forward to the rest of the camp and helping the children to learn and have lots of fun until they return home. Hope you're enjoying the blog and enjoying Z-Camp! Mersí!
