Wow. What a great day! We started off by making our sandwiches in preparation for our full day excursion.
In Sozopol
Naturally the majority of them were eaten before we even arrived in the beautifully quaint town of Sozopol. The amount of food these kids put away baffles me. Insatiable appetites and insane amounts of energy. After arriving, we split into groups and made our way through the picturesque cobbled streets, looking in the shops, visiting the old church, eating banitza and pizza as though it were going out of fashion. Plenty of smiles and laughter.
At Neptune Water Park
The best was yet to come however. At 2pm, we got on the coach and headed to Neptune Water Park. The kids couldn't contain their excitement, and to be honest, neither could the staff. Positive vibes! After having finished briefing them upon entering the waterpark, within the blink of an eye, they had disappeared with their friends. You really would think they have grown up together. The bonds they have managed to build in just a few days really has been lovely to witness.
Movie Night
After 3 hours at the waterpark, we returned back to camp to yet more food. Given the huge amount of energy exerted during the excursion, we decided to have a more relaxing evening activity, and went with 'Movie Night'. Where given this week's theme is sport, the older kids watched one of my personal favourites, 'Coach Carter' and those who are younger were able to watch the classic 'Space Jam' . I think it's safe to say we will all sleep very well this evening. No doubt your parents will be hearing all about our day. Leka. ZzZzZz😴
