Day 3: Tuesday 14th of August at Z Camp.
Another beautiful day on camp. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the smiley faces of the campers lit up the hearts of the men and women in yellow shirts.
The day began with a pleasant trip to the beach and a warm farewell to our old friend Mike.
After lessons a handful of students cooked up some tasty banitsa following an English recipe…. using new vocab like filo pastry. One particular group of students stated they had a very interesting lesson in which they explored the Theory of multiple intelligences.
The first music lesson with the new students went down a storm. After only one lesson students were rocking away to 12 bar blues. We look forward to nurturing their talent over the final few weeks. In the other workshop students worked in teams to begin construction on bridges made from spaghetti under the tutelage of the camps very own engineer.
The day ended wonderfully with a highly entertaining game of pictionary … with some rather ambiguous drawings and lots of laughter.
