The much anticipated “capture the flag” was the perfect start of the day. It meant the kids were able to run like Forest Gump and burn off their boundless energy. This was swiftly followed by a water fight. What a great way for the kids to get the activity leaders absolutely drenched!

The afternoon’s activities were disrupted by the rain, but some of the kids went windsurfing. The others used this time to prepare for the talent show. After the initial hesitation the students presented a variety of talents from photography, sports to musical abilities.

Who knew we would have so many talented singers? Some of the songs they chose to perform were so popular with the others that some songs turned into duels and others had those who were watching and listening in awe. The performances were a wonderful mixture of traditional Bulgarian folk songs as well as some modern tunes. After the talent show, everyone gave one of the student mentors a warm goodbye.
