Tuesday, July 2, Z CAMP 2019
Yet another action packed start to the day. A hearty breakfast, swiftly followed by our daily visit to the beach. Plenty of laughter and fun in the water had by all involved.
This week's topic 'Media'
At 11 o'clock lessons began where we introduced this week's topic 'Media'. Where some of our students were working on writing their own movie scripts, others preparing to interview famous actors, a third class comparing positive and negative sides to media, and some were lucky enough to be designing applications for social media, and presenting their ideas.
Whole range of sports
Afternoon activities consisted of a whole range of sports. From windsurfing to tennis, volleyball to swimming in the immaculate pool we have in our back garden. The energy our Z-Campers have amazes even the most experienced of our staff members.
It was then that we entered the buffet where the children were able to eat and drink until their hearts content in order to help them replenish their bodies with the fuel they had burnt of earlier in the day.
Enjoy our 'Musical Experience'
Given that they had had such a physically demanding day, we decided to have a more relaxing evening activity where they were able to enjoy our 'Musical Experience'. The kids were introduced to various musical stations, such as guitar class with Deyan, singing with Mike, Percussion with Tim and pitch training with Florin (some of our staff members, who also happen to be very talented musicians). What a treat for all involved.
I think it's safe to say after today, the kids and staff will be falling asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow. Leka. 😌
