It’s already day three at Z-camp. The day started with very much needed hearty breakfast, followed by prepping our packed lunch.
The Old town of Sozopol
As a start we headed to the Old town of Sozopol where we went for a walk along the coastal line to see the north gate of the city and we were reading the info boards along the path. We couldn’t resist taking a group photo on the cliffs.
From there we visited St. Martyr George’s church, where to our surprise all our summer camp stars showed the utmost respect and very much enjoyed seeing and discussing the church picturesque wall images of saints. After the morning walk we finally had the chance to sit down and relax in the shade. We enjoyed our very tasty lunch and yes, of course, we had ice-cream!
The trip to Sozopol was only the beginning of a day full of positive emotions. After lunch, the bus took as to Neptune Aqua Park and a few went to the castle of Ravadinovo.
Neptune Aqua Park
The water park seemed to be waiting just for us, because there was very little wait for the attractions. Off they went on floats and yoga mats with handles on a never-ending cycle only interrupted by outbursts of nervous laughter. Going down those pipes does tickle your belly!
The Ravadinovo castle
In the meantime, in the Ravadinovo castle next door, a few of our campers were sightseeing around its beautiful surroundings, abounding with various flowers. A peacock was generous enough to share few of its feathers with the children.
Back at Z camp, we had a delicious dinner and prepared for a comedy about the adventures of twin girls in a summer camp. Please, guys don’t use any of the tricks we’ve seen in the movie! 🙂
Exhausted and full of positivity we headed to the dorms to have a well deserved rest.
