Another gorgeous day has gone by. Beach in the morning was chilled and relaxed. We were like lizards, lying in the sun as long as we possibly could before sprinting into the Black Sea. It’s such a nice way to start the day.
In English class we learnt about how people use their skills and abilities to create the life and career they want for themselves. We walked in the shoes of teachers, opticians, pilots and soldiers.
Some classes recreated TV show Dragon`s Den, in which entrepreneurs were seeking funding to set up their dream business. They are coming up with ideas and then designing posters and prototypes for the products, to be presented tomorrow to our camp dragons.
I don’t know if we have mentioned how great the food had been here on Z Camp, and today was no exception. Lunch was delicious.
In the afternoon campers participated in a sport of their choice – tennis, volleyball or football. Some younger pupils did special team-building games and learned about positive attitude and participation.
On another note, we sang ‘’Happy Birthday’’ to our dearest Maria, who has been with us since the very beginning of the camp.
And to further celebrate we had a Karaoke night. Once again we were shocked by the sheer level of talent on our camp when voices joined in unison to cover Dolly Parton`s ‘’9 to 5’’, which is the theme song of the week. Boys and girls together crooned endless popular songs until their voices could give no more… What a jolly way to spend Friday night. Have a good rest because tomorrow is another adventure.
