Friday, July 5, Z CAMP 2019
Today started off with the threat of our first bout of rainy/stormy weather since kick off here at Green Park Hotel, Kiten. Everyone headed to the beach with baited breath. Thankfully, the clouds parted and another beautiful day ensued at Z-camp.
The English language in print media, advertising and movies
After another fun time at the beach, campers headed back to their rooms for a quick shower to start their lessons. Media was the subject and while one class were continuing on their movie project, another looked into written media with the class creating and writing their own newspaper/magazine article, while another class focused on advertisement.
Sports and music and preparation for the evening
Following lunch, was multi-sport activities. A new sport – kickball - was on the menu! Campers had a great time getting to grips with the sport. As well as, guitar, volleyball and tennis.
Karaoke
After a hearty dinner and stuffed to the brim, campers (and staff alike) were ready to kick off for a bit of karaoke!
As always, campers started off a bit timid leaving the staff to try their best with a golden oldie. But it didn’t take long for the campers to know that they could out-sing, out-perform and out-entertain the staff! Once the first camper grabbed the mike to belt out his/her favourite tune, campers were queuing out the door to take the opportunity to perform.

The place was absolutely rocking and undoubtedly, every camper was humming him or herself to sleep when bedtime came and day 5 came to a close at Z-camp 2019.
